Opening the final day of Project SoundLounge 2014 at 4pm, Town Hall, is the Tom Walker Trio. The soulful depth of front-man Tom Walker’s vocals, soaring electric guitar solos and driving funk of the bass puts this young trio at the forefront of the Birmingham blues revival. With a heavy rock edge and a nod towards groove & funk, the band have an unmistakably unique sound. The perfect start to an evening of incredible music!

Following blues-rock band Tom Walker Trio on Sunday, are Birmingham favourites The Mourning Suns. The hauntingly beautiful Mourning Suns are a six-piece psychedelic folk band bringing together dreamy male and female harmonies with darkly poetic lyrics. Featuring electric guitar, bass, viola, ukele and drums, the production creates a strikingly serene yet sinister sound with a sixties twist. Completely original and unique, it’s a band not to miss!
